Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Tonevia mobile application and website.

Effective date: September 9, 2026  ·  Last updated: September 9, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Soulfree Technology Limited ("Soulfree," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using Tonevia, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. If you do not agree, do not use Tonevia.

These Terms apply only to Tonevia and its pages at www.royaltv.net/tonevia/. RoyalLive, our separate Android product, is subject to its own Terms of Service.

If you obtain Tonevia through the Apple App Store, the applicable store terms also apply. If these Terms conflict with mandatory store terms, the mandatory store terms control to the extent of that conflict.

2. What Tonevia provides

Tonevia is a self-guided voice practice utility that lets you record short responses, replay them, enter reflection scores and notes, and schedule local practice reminders. Features may vary by version, device, region, and operating system.

The current Guest and Demo Account options are local app modes and do not create a server-based account. Tonevia may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. Tonevia is not directed to children under 13. If you are below the age at which you may consent independently in your country, you may use Tonevia only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

4. Your recordings and content

You retain your rights in the voice recordings, notes, and other content you create. In the current version, this content remains locally on your device and is not uploaded to us. You are responsible for ensuring that your content and use of Tonevia comply with law and do not infringe another person's privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or other rights.

You should not record another person without any notice or consent required by applicable law. You are responsible for backing up any information you wish to preserve; deleting the app or using the in-app deletion control can permanently remove local content.

5. Acceptable use

You may use Tonevia only for lawful, personal, or authorized purposes. You must not:

  • use the app to violate law or the rights of another person;
  • attempt to bypass security, interfere with operation, introduce malicious code, or access systems without authorization;
  • reverse engineer or extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • misrepresent affiliation with Tonevia or Soulfree;
  • use our website or support channels for spam, abuse, fraud, or unlawful content.

6. Our intellectual property

Tonevia, including its software, design, name, logo, text, and other materials we provide, is owned by or licensed to Soulfree and protected by applicable laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control as permitted by the applicable app store.

Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used by us without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.

7. Important disclaimers

Tonevia is a general self-practice tool. It is not medical care, speech therapy, mental health care, language certification, professional coaching, or an emergency service. Self-review scores are personal reflections, not diagnostic or professional evaluations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tonevia is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or that use will produce a particular outcome. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Soulfree and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from Tonevia.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims relating to Tonevia will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Tonevia in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 50. These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including certain consumer rights or liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

9. Termination and changes

You may stop using Tonevia at any time. You can delete local content through the app and may uninstall it. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or address a material violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

10. Disputes and consumer rights

Please contact contact@royaltv.net about a dispute so we can seek a resolution. Applicable law determines jurisdiction and the rights available to you. Nothing in these Terms overrides mandatory consumer protections, remedies, or your right to bring a claim before a competent court.
